Having founded CiTi Homes in 1987 and selling property since before then, Gillian is a true expert in the Cape Town property scene.
She focuses on the development of the company across rentals, sales and sectional title leading the strategic direction for each division. With a keen interest in property contracts and law, Gillian navigates complicated issues for our clients.
In her spare time, Gillian can be found teeing off at the Metropolitan or introducing friends and family to the best events and wine Cape Town has to offer.
MELANIE-ANN BURGESS
Sectional Title Portfolio Manager
Melanie-Ann Burgess, a proud Capetonian and BCom Financial Management graduate, is a Full Status Property Practitioner with extensive experience in finance, accounting, and real estate. Passionate about connecting with people and navigating the complexities of the property market, she brings a trustworthy work ethic, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude to her work. With a solid financial background and deep industry knowledge, Melanie guides clients through the dynamic real estate landscape with confidence and ease. Committed to excellence, she enjoys family time and the vibrant lifestyle of Cape Town in her spare moments.
KIM JANDRELL
Marketing Consultant
With a Bachelor's Degree focused in Marketing Communication, Kim has forged a career in advertising holding roles in PR, media planning and social media working for luxury food brands, airlines and London’s biggest developers. She has a robust understanding of the communication industry and a keen passion for all things digital.
In her spare time, she manages a portfolio of holiday rental properties and can be found browsing interior design stores.
CANDICE JACOBS
Administration Manager
Having come from a customer service background and now working as the rental administrator for CiTi Homes over 6 years, Candice is well-versed in dealing with different challenges.
Her ability to communicate effectively eliminating distraction while balancing the needs of tenants and landlord means she has delivered excellent service for CiTi Homes. She heads rental administration overseeing the renewal of leases, maintenance of properties and insurance claims, as well as, assisting with these for sectional title.
In her spare time, Candice enjoys a good book and soaking up the scenic spots of Cape Town.
ADRIAAN SMIT

With a passion for real estate, Adriaan brings a creative yet strategic approach to property and client service. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from FEDISA, where he developed a sharp eye for detail, aesthetics, and design — qualities that now enhance his work in the real estate industry.
Adriaan’s professional journey includes working property sales and rentals in Dubai in a fast-paced, international market. There, he refined his ability to craft compelling property visuals and deliver tailored advice to clients from diverse backgrounds.
Known for his strong communication and organizational skills, he builds genuine relationships, ensuring each client’s interaction is seamless and informative. His ability to merge market insight with a keen sense of style and presentation gives him a distinctive edge in the industry.
